January is an exciting time and many people make New Year’s Resolutions; like losing weight, giving up smoking, writing a book, and other pledges. Studies show that only 8% of people keep their New Year’s Resolutions, however. That drive and determination we have in January, quickly gets overwhelmed by our daily lives. The other day I was having coffee with a friend and neither of us had made any New Year’s Resolutions for 2017. My friend told me that instead she planned to focus on a balance of her mind, body, and soul on a regular basis. Making smaller adjustments in her life to achieve balance, rather than grand promises that wouldn’t withstand the crush of daily activities. I thought was a great way to go about things.
