This weekend while running 16 miles I thought about what a long way sports bras have come in the past two decades. In high school I used to have my fellow cross country runners assist me with ace wrapping my chest and then putting on a "one-size-fits-all" bra over the top. This was a very painful and not terribly effective way to cope with being a well-endowed lady. As I grew up, so did the sports bra industry. One of my favorite bras lookds like a middle-ages torture device, but is in fact one of the greatest inventions ever. I tried on my first Enell sports bra at Boulder Fields and when Kim Larsen headed it to me I said, "You have got to be kidding me." The Enell sports bra is made of a satin type material with 10 hooks and eyes going up the front closure of the bra.
